Wolfgang und Volker Stauf The sixth generation

The new company management under Wolfgang Stauf and Volker Stauf, faced major challenges from the beginning: new technologies had to be introduced, and in addition the product range had to be supplemented. The development of new adhesives and the assurance of the quality of proven products made it necessary to double the workforce in the laboratory. Abroad the company set up its own distribution structures; customer support at home, which had previouly been provided through independent commercial agents, was now delegated to the company's own personnel. The production facility for the powder parquet adhesive "PPK-880"  was erected in the Siegen works. In the spring of 2000 a contract was finally placed for the construction of a new adehsives factory, which started up in October 2002. "A good company that wishes to survive must remain young, dynamic and mobile and must develop new, creative ideas day after day.“ Dr. Werner Stauf With the commissioning of the new factory and closure of the old one, the continuing development of the STAUF company has been given a firm foundation. Now we have to begin to shape the future. As a purely family concern, STAUF must continue to asset itself in the global market, where large shareholders set the course. In times of open borders and the removal of barriers to the international movement of goods, we will adopt not only tried and tested approaches, but also follow new roads in order to open up international markets.
