The use of STAUF products reduces the risk in the adhesives field. But the customer expects an overall service which is faultless and which complies with the rules of the craft. Should the occasion arise where this is not achieved, STAUF will bear the risks involved in accordance with the STAUF system warranty. Within framework of the agreements concluded in the STAUF system warranty, STAUF indemnifies its partners for any warranty claims lodged by the customer.
The STAUF system warranty assumes your risks! STAUF will assume the risk of direct and indirect damage to the customer. STAUF will also bear lawyers', court and experts' expenses on condition that STAUF has been afforded the opportunity in good time to take part in any proceedings. The payment of compensation for damages is limited at present to a maximum of € 100,000.00. The agreements within the framework of the STAUF system warranty include an excess and a lump-sum for costs based on the total area to be laid. The STAUF system warranty: it couldn't be simpler The STAUF system warranty comes into effect on the basis of an individual agreement between STAUF and the performing laying company. It contains specific provisions based on the total area to be laid. In general the laying company completes the site record and sends it to STAUF or the STAUF system partner. Then a laying recommendation geared to the object and its size is put forward by Application Technology at STAUF.
If necessary, specific units are discussed or, in the case of large objects, site inspections are conducted in advance to determine the substrate, the covering to be laid, the room climate and possibly other individual laying conditions. Then STAUF will draw up the system warranty certificate and send it to the system partner so that he can pass it on, or send it directly to the laying company.
